Facial Feminisation Surgery

Surgically soften masculine facial features for a naturally feminine appearance

Facial feminisation surgery is a combination of surgical procedures designed to soften and reshape masculine facial features — high brows, a prominent brow ridge, a wide jaw and a strong chin — into a more feminine facial structure. Procedures are selected individually based on your anatomy and goals, with the aim of a natural, cohesive result.

FFS commonly includes brow bone reduction and brow lift, rhinoplasty, jaw angle reduction, chin reshaping, fat grafting for midface softening, and hairline lowering. Not every patient requires every procedure — the combination is designed around what will achieve the most harmonious feminisation for your individual facial anatomy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be on hormones to have FFS?

Hormone therapy is not a medical prerequisite for FFS at our clinic. However, many patients choose to begin hormone therapy before facial surgery as oestrogen causes some natural facial softening. Your surgeon will discuss the optimal timing for your case.

Can all FFS procedures be done at once?

Combining procedures in one or two stages is common and reduces overall recovery time. Your surgeon will plan the safest and most efficient combination for your anatomy and goals.
